IT Help Desk Specialist – Toronto

WeirFoulds LLP is currently looking for an IT Help Desk Specialist for full-time role. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, confident, adaptable, collaborative and client service focused. It is beneficial if the candidate has worked in a law firm before and has at least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

Provides level 1 support to resolve incidents. This role will be required to provide on call support evenings and week-ends on a rotational basis. 

Must have:
  • IT Help Desk experience,  atleast 3 years.
  • Troubleshooting experience for end user hardware
  • Troubleshooting experience for Windows and Office installations, as well as other Windows applications
  • Troubleshooting and installation experience for iPhones
  • Windows Account management 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office add-ons management
  • Knowledge on how to troubleshoot audio-video equipment
Nice to have:
  • In depth understanding of Active Directory, MS Exchange and Group Policies
  • Knowledge and experience with a MDM platform
  • Experience with Windows System Update Services (WSUS)
  • Experience with creation and management of software images
  • Knowledge of law firm specific software (like IntApp Open, Walls, iManage FileSite)
  • IP telephony, UC-One preferred
  • Citrix remote access servers
  • Knowledge on how to troubleshoot network, server space issues
