Developers and builders working in the GTA know that the process to get projects approved has become more complex, expensive, lengthy and uncertain. Anything that attempts to ease these stresses is a welcome relief.
The provincial government amended the Planning Act on December 3, 2015 allowing for the option of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) before a matter escalates to an expensive OMB hearing, which should help to ease some stress.
