Partner Bota McNamara will speak during the first in-person Caribbean Insolvency Round Table, which will be hosted by INSOL International and the World Bank Group on Monday, December 9, 2024.
INSOL International has a significant membership base in the Caribbean and INSOL International members, Regulators, law-makers, insolvency practitioners, judges and other stakeholders from the region participating in INSOL International activities have demonstrated keen interest in learning from the experience of other countries. The World Bank Group is the largest provider of assistance to countries in the Caribbean on the improvement of the insolvency systems in the various countries in the region.

Bota will present a session on "Challenges for Insolvency Matters in the Caribbean", which will examine some of the key challenges across the Caribbean region, from jurisdictions with strong insolvency practices to more nascent jurisdictions. The session will aim to develop a practical roadmap for strengthening economies of scale across the region and improving insolvency systems generally.
