Partner Glenn Ackerley will speak at the Emerging Leaders Conference 2025, which will be hosted by the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada on Thursday, March 27 - Friday, March 28, 2025.

Sessions for the conference will address a variety of topics, including mental health in the workplace, the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), technology and project management, contract and industry practice issues, and interactive sessions around Lean and Pull Planning.

On the second day of the conference, Glenn will present "Navigating the Adjudication and Prompt Payment Regime". The emergence of prompt payment legislation in various jurisdictions across Canada has also prompted the emergence of adjudication and its role in dispute resolution. This session will explore the role of adjudication in dealing with payment disputes on construction projects, and what contractors should know when engaging in the adjudication procedure.
