Partner Glenn Ackerley will present during the 17th National Conference on Navigating Risk in Construction Contracts & Projects, which will be hosted by the C5 Group on Thursday, February 27 & Friday, February 28, 2025.

On the second day of the conference, Glenn will take part in a special presentation titled "National Insights on Prompt Payment and Adjudication", where he will discuss the key changes to the legislation and why those changes were enacted to address pressing issues in the industry. The overhaul of the Ontario Construction Act introduces mandatory annual release of holdbacks and broadens access to adjudication, aiming to ensure timely payments and efficient dispute resolution in the construction industry.
