Partners Caroline Abela and Jonah Waxman will present during the Fall 2024 Osgoode Certificate in Estate Litigation, which will be offered by Osgoode Professional Development on October 15 - October 25, 2024.

Over five intensive sessions, this estate litigation certificate program goes beyond the basics, offering a hands-on and in-depth understanding of estate litigation to give attendees the expertise needed to confidently guide their clients and excel as an advocate in estate matters.

On October 16, Caroline will take part in "Module 2 - Non-Contentious & Contentious Proceedings", which will focus on topics such as appointing an estate trustee, obtaining orders for assistance, revoking or returning a certificate of appointment, objecting to the issuing of a certificate of appointment, contesting claims against the estate, and making dependant support claims.

On October 25, Jonah will present "Module 5 - Fiduciary Litigation (Part II)", which will focus on understanding the lawyer's responsibilities, commencing capacity proceedings and capacity-related proceedings, addressing other considerations during estate litigation, and exploring useful and practical tools.
