The WeirFoulds Construction Practice Group recently wrapped up Season 4 of its popular “Tools for Success” series of webinars, hosted by Partners Krista Chaytor and Jeff Scorgie.
The series is designed to highlight the latest changes and developments that are impacting the construction industry, providing professionals including lawyers, architects, consultants, contractors and more with a venue where they can hear from experts on a wide range of key topics. Jeff and Krista first began hosting Tools for Success webinars in the spring of 2021, and since then have curated 18 highly informative sessions which have garnered significant attention across the construction industry, receiving media mentions and attracting attendees from across the country.
This fall’s Season 4 consisted of four sessions that were held biweekly from Thursday, September 29th – Thursday, November 10th, covering topics that included “Handling Design Issues Without Disputes”, “What You Really Need to Know About Adjudication”, “The Construction Act and Contracts,” and “Managing Risks Associated with the Project Site”.
To provide attendees with a truly robust and educational experience, Jeff and Krista welcomed guest speakers Natalie Taleb, Managing Partner of Square Vis Architects, Ted Dreyer, Partner at Madorin, Snyder LLP, Quin Gilbert-Walters, Legal Counsel at Pomerleau, and Jayne McLean, Director of Project Delivery at BDA Inc.
