On September 12, 2017 WeirFoulds hosted its annual Infrastructure Forum to discuss municipal infrastructure projects that can revitalize downtown areas and serve as drivers of economic development.
Hosted by the firms infrastructure team, the program of speaker was made up of Weirfoulds municipal and infrastructure lawyers.
They were also joined by a number of guest speakers from Infrastructure Ontario, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, City of Oshawa, University of Windsor and Stadium Consultants International.
In addition to providing in-depth consideration of the numerous benefits of infrastructure projects such as, sports and entertainment centres, convention centres and performing arts and cultural venues, the program also discussed the practical tools available to assist in delivering these projects and achieving the associated benefits.
