WeirFoulds LLP’s Commercial Leasing Group is pleased to launch part two of the second season of WeirTalking Leasing – a legal podcast series highlighting the top commercial leasing trends in Ontario and Canada.
In this season, our lawyers and guest speakers discuss key topics through the lens of the COVID-19 pandemic, such as navigating the real estate market, landlord and tenant issues, and how to prepare for future crises.
The discussions are geared toward all facets of the commercial leasing landscape, providing insights, tips and reminders to both new and seasoned landlords, tenants, property managers and others, on some of the most important – and evolving – areas of commercial leasing law.
Part two of season two features partners Lisa Borsook, Krista Chaytor, and Karsten Lee, associates Alexandra DiCenzo and Caitlin Steven, as well as guest speakers Fred and Jay Waks, Toronto real-estate entrepreneurs.
If you are new to the series, be sure to check out season one, released in September 2019, which explores cannabis and leasing law, unattractive properties, terminating leases and more. Part one of season two aired in April 2020 and explores changes to the Construction Act that impact leases, distribution centre leases and co-tenancies.
The entire series is available on SoundCloud, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify and Stitcher, and at weirfoulds.com.
Listeners are welcomed to suggest topics for future episodes that they would like to learn more about and can subscribe to receive updates on future episodes.
