WeirFoulds is pleased to announce that Glenn Ackerley, chair of the firm’s Construction Practice Group, was presented with the Donald P. Giffin Sr. Construction Industry Achievement Award at the Toronto Construction Association’s (TCA) annual general meeting on February 20, 2020.
The Donald P. Giffin Award is the most prestigious of the TCA’s Best of the Best Awards, which are presented annually. The award recognizes individuals and organizations that have benefited from the construction industry through major contribution(s) they have made to its progress and development. They are distinguished by the exemplary dedication and leadership they have shown in pursuing the construction industry’s common goals and interests.
Glenn is renowned for representing contractors, developers, owners and subtrades in contentious and contractual matters in the construction sphere. He represents both public and private clients across the construction industry in construction related matters.
Glenn is also the 2019 recipient of the Jock Tindale Memorial Award for Integrity in the Construction Industry, presented by the Ontario General Contractor’s Association.
