WeirFoulds Partner Jennifer Corak recognized by the Ontario Bar Association with the 2025 Hoffstein Book Prize

WeirFoulds is pleased to announce that Partner Jennifer Corak has been recognized by the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) as the 2025 recipient of the Hoffstein Book Prize.

The OBA Hoffstein Book Prize is awarded to members of the Ontario Bar Association who have demonstrated leadership in the trusts and estates bar through knowledge, experience, skill, commitment, passion and strength of character, and who, in addition to demonstrating these qualities,  actively participate in continuing legal education and/or academic writing.

Jennifer is a highly experienced lawyer in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, practicing exclusively in these areas. She has guided both Canadian and international clients through a variety of Wills, estates and trust matters, including cross-border and international estate planning, estates and trust taxation, Will and probate planning,  and incapacity planning. She assists a wide range of clients, including entrepreneurs, business owners, and other professionals, and has experience in succession planning for closely held businesses and planning for individuals in complex family arrangements.

Jennifer is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), holding the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation. She previously served as a member of the Ontario Bar Association Section Executives for Trusts and Estates law and Elder Law. Jennifer enjoys writing and speaking on estates and trusts matters and is co-Editor-in-Chief of Federated Press’ Personal Tax and Estate Planning journal.
