Glenn Ackerley is the Chair of the Construction Practice Group at WeirFoulds. His practice is focused on construction law, construction liens and construction litigation. Glenn fills the role of a “project lawyer”, providing ongoing advice from the start through to completion of a project. He represents clients from across the construction industry – including public and private owners, developers, contractors, subtrades, suppliers, and consultants – in a variety of construction-related matters.
Raj Anand practises in the areas of human rights, constitutional and administrative law, labour relations, civil litigation, professional negligence and discipline. He is a former Chief Commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission. In 2012, he was appointed as Chair of the Law Society’s Working Group on systemic racism in the legal and paralegal professions, and he presented its final report in December 2016.
Lisa Borsook is currently the executive partner of WeirFoulds LLP and was the firm’s managing partner from 2007 to 2012. She is also the current Chairperson of its Commercial Leasing Practice Group. For more than 25 years Lisa has used her extensive management, legal and business experience to run her successful and vibrant practice that includes a vast array of clients, both large and small, local, regional, national and international, as well as numerous governments and government agencies, in connection with their infrastructure, retail, industrial, office and brownfields properties.
