WeirFoulds is proud of its continuing support of the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) Day initiative. The third CSE Day event, CSE Day Toronto – Spring Pitch 2016, on April 28, 2016 is focused on CSE-listed companies and investors.
This event profiles several recent listings during a program geared to the investment community. The program is filled with CSE-listed companies who will share their stories in a series of “speed pitches” followed by a networking session. CSE Day caters to individuals who are involved in and/or following the micro-cap markets, junior listed companies, and emerging start-ups. Investors also get exposure to a cross-section of several exciting CSE-listed companies.
Michael Dolphin, corporate partner at WeirFoulds, will moderate a panel entitled “New Financing Options” and Raj Dewan, corporate partner, will appear as a panellist. The panel will review the new prospectus exemptions introduced in Canada recently and those still to come, including rights offerings, crowdfunding, offering memorandum and existing shareholders.
CSE Day is another example of WeirFoulds’ commitment to working with owner-operators and entrepreneurs in high-growth markets to support their business objectives.
