WeirFoulds is delighted to announce that Lucinda (Lucy) E. Main has joined the firm as a Partner and Co-Chair of our Wills, Trusts and Estates Group.
Lucy has been repeatedly recognized in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in Estates & Personal Tax Planning and by Best Lawyers in Canada for her expertise in Trusts and Estates Law. Her accomplishments in, and contributions to, these areas of law were also recognized in 2016 when she was awarded the Hoffstein Book Prize by the Ontario Bar Association.
Lucy advises Canadian and international clients on a wide range of estate, trust and tax matters including the drafting of estate planning documents, tax and business succession, the establishing of private charitable foundations, advising beneficiaries of estates and the administration of estates.

She frequently writes and co-authors articles for various publications and regularly presents at legal conferences. Lucy also enjoys mentoring young lawyers and has taken part in many mentoring initiatives.
