The committee’s recent activities include: annual International Women’s’ Day celebrations and Celebrating the Women of WeirFoulds Awards; internal mentoring dinners and community-based partnerships; social media initiatives such as #WomanCrushWednesday to highlight women talent at the firm; and various client facing events that combine education, networking, and opportunities to meet local women business leaders.

Co-chaired by Lisa Danay Wallace and Marie-Pier Nadeau, the committee consists of a group of firm members including Abby Benattar, Janet Bobechko, Ellen Dalicandro, Lori Isaj, Megan Mah, Mimi Palmer, Emma Romano, Abbey Sinclair, Christina Tereshyn, Kayla Theeuwen and some of our current summer and articling students.

As part of the WFW mission statement, we aim to advance and empower women in various skill sets to benefit every aspect of their professional and personal lives, all while promoting a diverse, inclusive, and professional workplace.
