WeirFoulds is proud to continue to support the Women’s Brain Health Initiative “From Her Lips to Our Ears” conversation and cocktail reception. The event will be held at The Ritz-Carlton in Toronto on October 3, 2018. This is the second year that the firm will be supporting this amazing initiative focused on advancements concerning women and brain health.
This is the first of two brain health-focused events that WeirFoulds is proudly sponsoring in October of this year. The second event is the Baycrest’s 100th Anniversary Gala. WeirFoulds is a committed and continuing supporter of initiatives that are dedicated to bettering the health care services and quality of life for people of all ages in Canada.
The Women’s Brain Health Initiative creates education programs and funds research to combat brain-aging diseases that affect women. This event in particular is focused on discussing the joys and losses of life people experience when faced with Alzheimer’s disease. Lisa Borsook, our Executive Partner, is a board member of the Women’s Brain Health Initiative (WBHI).
The featured speaker of the evening is actress and author, Marcia Gay Harden, who will be discussing her new book The Seasons of My Mother. The discussion will be moderated by famed journalist, media personality, and fashion entrepreneur, Jeanne Beker.
